About the Internship: 

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to real-time projects, develop technical and analytical skills, and gain insight into the biotech industry. Interns will have exposure to Neomorph’s mission, values, and collaborative culture.

Internship Project and Responsibilities:

The Research Operations & Logistics team is seeking a highly motivated intern to support laboratory inventory accuracy and freezer space optimization. This role will play a critical part in improving sample traceability, increasing usable freezer capacity, and ensuring high-quality inventory records within Mosaic. The intern will gain hands-on experience in compound management, laboratory operations, and data integrity in an R&D environment.

Key Goals

  • Organize laboratory freezer space to enable increased sample storage capacity
  • Ensure accurate accounting and traceability of compound inventory
  • Improve alignment between physical samples, plate maps, and digital inventory records


Who You Are: 

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program and have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.  

Skills & Qualifications

  • General laboratory experience with a strong understanding of safe lab practices
  • Demonstrated use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in data accuracy and organization
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and communicate progress clearly

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Comfortable working in cold-room or freezer environments for extended periods
  • Ability to handle laboratory plates and samples using proper safety protocols
