About the Internship: 

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to real-time projects, develop technical and analytical skills, and gain insight into the biotech industry. Interns will have exposure to Neomorph’s mission, values, and collaborative culture.

Internship Project and Responsibilities:

Neomorph is seeking a summer intern to join the Molecular Sciences department. The student will participate in structure-function biochemistry projects, including but not limited to: protein purification using cutting-edge industry-standard approaches, biochemical and biophysical activity assays, and, if the project allows, training in structural biology. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to interface across multiple disciplines in a dynamic startup environment focused on the rapidly advancing modality of targeted protein degradation.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program and have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies. Foundational/introductory biochemistry courses preferred.
• Must have basic, hands-on lab experience and an understanding of protein purification techniques and biochemical activity assays. Experience with protein purification techniques such as E. coli protein expression and affinity tag protein purification is preferred.   
• Self-driven with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and inter-personal skills.
